Plan for duties, taxes and ongoing costs.
Under the rules effective 1 January 2026, covered vehicles above RM300,000 on the prescribed valuation basis are subject to applicable duties and taxes. A retail price or marque alone does not establish the amount payable. Read the vehicle duties and tax guide before committing.
Request an itemised vehicle quotation showing import duty, excise duty and sales tax where applicable, together with registration, road tax and insurance. Obtain the applicable road-tax rate from JPJ for the actual registration category.
